I’m currently on Chapter 54 (page 488) , and I’m not really sure where SJM is going with this.

With the anticipation of the HOFAS release, I was really hoping for something more with this novel. I thought Bryce was going to show her cards more, or at least we as the reader, were going to know more.

She’s clearly the unreliable narrator that we all thought. But with this writing, I keep getting told what everyone is doing. Not as much description in this novel, but maybe there is a reason for that.

I just feel like this novel is filler and I really didn’t want it to be. I’m only halfway through though. Anything can change and I know that SJM can sweep me off my feet in ten pages and then I won’t be able to put it down until 5 AM.

Tharion, Ithan, and Ruhn are absolutely slaying the story line for me and keeping me the most intrigued. Ouuu.. Lidia, too. We knew she was going to be a baddie with a few secrets though.

She did what she had to do!

Is anyone a little upset that there wasn’t more Rhys and Feyre? Absolutely loving the introduction into Azriel in HOFAS, though. He has already said more in HOFAS than the entirety of the ACOTAR universe.

I can now have an opinion on him and am ready for the next ACOTAR installment. LMAO. Seems so broody and he prob grabbed Bryce’s hand like five times.

Stay tuned in for the final review once finished! Stay up to date on goodreads also.
